Party and State leaders visit President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum on the occasion of April 30

On the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2024), on the morning of April 26, the delegation of the Party Central Committee, the President, and the National Assembly , The Government and Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front laid wreaths at the Mausoleum to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh.

The delegation then offered incense and commemorated the Heroic Martyrs at the Memorial Hall of Martyrs and Heroes on Bac Son Street.

Before the heroic spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the delegation expressed their infinite gratitude and respectfully commemorated his great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.

President Ho Chi Minh devoted his whole life to the people and the country, leading our Party and people to achieve glorious victories. The wreath of the delegation visiting the Mausoleum carried the words: “Eternal gratitude to the great President Ho Chi Minh”.

Recalling the historic moment, at 11:30 on April 30, 1975 was when the revolutionary flag flew on the roof of the Independence Palace – the last stronghold of the Saigon government. From here, the South was completely liberated, and Vietnam was unified.

49 years after liberation, Vietnam has gone from being a poor country to overcoming all hardships and challenges, gradually winning great victories, becoming one of the countries in the group of high growth countries in the region. and the world.

After visiting President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the delegation laid wreaths and offered incense to commemorate the Martyrs at the Memorial Hall of Martyrs and Heroes on Bac Son Street.

In a solemn atmosphere, the Party and State leaders expressed their remembrance of the nation’s outstanding sons and daughters who spared no blood, bravely fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. for the happiness of the people.
