On April 26, in Khanh Hung commune, Tran Van Thoi district, Ca Mau province, many subsidence locations appeared on roads meeting new rural standards (3m road). It is alarming when the level of damage is large and dangerous to traffic safety at the locations leading to the bridge, affecting the structure of the bridge, with the risk of collapsing at any time.

At the northern bank of Canal C, Mr. Dang Muoi Ba said, the road leading to the bridge completely subsided, affecting the bridge structure. People moving across the bridge often fall, greatly affecting the safety of the bridge. travel and transport of goods of people.

Kenh Nhang Bridge on the land of Mr. Le Anh Quy and Mr. To Linh on the west bank of Canal Nhat B, with a length of 36m and a width of 19m, completely collapsed, causing damage of over 360 million VND.

Information from the People’s Committee of Tran Van Thoi district, up to this point, there have been 667 subsidence locations due to drought in the area with a length of 17,648m, estimated damage of nearly 26 billion VND. In addition, up to 13,563m of concrete roads collapsed, causing complete damage. Especially for concrete roads with 3m exposed surface, the damage was 6,594m. According to district leader Tran Van Thoi, future repairs take a lot of time and are quite expensive.
