In Luc Yen district, Vice President Vu Thi Hien Hanh and the delegation visited and gave gifts to Mr. Nguyen Thi Khuy in Tan Quang village, Lieu Do commune, who turned 100 years old this year, and participated in the frontline civil service during the Dien Bien Phu Campaign. from February 1950 to September 1952; Mr. Luong Van Phuong is a worshiper of martyr Luong Van Sy, who participated in the civil war, sacrificed at Dien Bien Phu, and currently lives in Yen Phu village, Vinh Lac commune; Mr. Nong Dinh Lich in village 5, Muong Lai commune, 90 years old this year, was a Dien Bien soldier participating in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign from February 1952 to November 1954; Mr. Hoang Hai Ho, from village 6, Muong Lai commune, 94 years old, participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign from February 1954 to November 1954.

At the places visited, on behalf of the provincial leaders, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee thoughtfully visited the health and life of the families of martyrs, Dien Bien soldiers and their families.

At the same time, he expressed his respect and gratitude for the contributions and great contributions of the martyrs, soldiers of Dien Bien, and frontline workers in the resistance war against the French colonialists who did not spare their blood, bones, and contributions. Together with our army and people, we achieved the victory of Dien Bien Phu that was “illustrious in five continents and shook the earth”.
