Thai Nguyen will focus on implementing poverty reduction projects, such as: Diversifying livelihoods, developing poverty reduction models (nearly 2.3 billion VND); support production development and nutrition improvement (nearly 500 million VND); develop vocational education and sustainable employment (over 800 million VND); communication and information poverty reduction (85 million VND)… City. Thai Nguyen is directing specialized agencies to coordinate with localities based on practical conditions to review and implement poverty reduction models and projects as planned; At the same time, regularly strengthen inspection, supervision and evaluation of project implementation results to help poor people in the area gradually stabilize their lives.
City’s 2024 goal. Thai Nguyen is striving to reduce the poverty rate from 0.47% to 0.40% (equivalent to reducing 65 poor households); Near-poor households decreased from 0.58% to 0.54% (equivalent to a reduction of 349 near-poor households).
