A tractor-trailer traveling on Highway 1 through Khanh Hoa suddenly caught fire. The fire did not cause any human damage, but the front of the car was destroyed by the fire.

According to initial information, the fire occurred at around 11:00 a.m. on April 25, at Km 1398 + 300 National Highway 1 (section passing Van Hung commune, Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa province).

This time, the truck Tractor BKS 78C-092.38, pulling trailer BKS 78R-002.80, driven by driver PHP (born 1984, Hoa Xuan Tay commune, Dong Hoa town, Phu Yen), traveling North – South. When reaching the above destination, the car suddenly started smoking at the front.

Authorities and people tried to extinguish the fire.

Not long after, the fire broke out, the driver quickly jumped out of the cabin and ran outside, at the same time reporting to the authorities and calling for people to come to the rescue.

Within just 5 minutes, the fire engulfed the cabin. Many cars and motorbikes traveling in the same direction had to stop from afar to avoid it.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Van Ninh District Police sent specialized vehicles to the scene, along with surrounding people to put out the fire. About 30 minutes later, the fire was controlled.

At the scene, most of the tractor cabin was burned to the ground. Fortunately, the fire did not cause any human damage.

Initial information was that it was possible that the oil pipe was broken, leading to a short circuit and a fire in the car.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by authorities.
