The 12th International Conference of Senior Leaders in Charge of Security takes place from April 23-25, in St. Petersburg, Russia.

According to statistics from international security firms, Vietnam is among the three countries with the most cyber attacks in the Asia-Pacific region. High-tech criminal activities often collude with subjects abroad, causing very serious consequences.

Minister To Lam emphasized the need to promote existing multilateral cooperation within frameworks such as Interpol, Europol, Aseanpol and other mechanisms to regulate and support countries in ensuring cyber security, prevention, fight and handle cybercrime and transnational crime.

Minister To Lam affirmed that Vietnam highly appreciates the significance of the conference and wishes to continue sharing experiences and initiatives with international partners and friends on crime prevention and protection of national sovereignty. participating in cyberspace.

Within the framework of the 12th International Conference, senior leaders in charge of security also held a multilateral meeting – the 4th consultation session of security leaders of ASEAN member states and Russia, in which Russia Affirmed determination to strengthen dialogue with ASEAN in all fields, including security.

Previously, on April 23, Minister of Public Security To Lam had a bilateral meeting with Secretary of the Russian Federation Security Council Patrushev.
