After the success of the MV “Real Life Fairy Tales” featuring a series of Vietnamese artists such as Pham Quynh Anh, Quang Dung, Pham Thu Ha, Sara Luu, Jaykii… international female singer Shontelle has just released the English version of This song is called “True fairytales”.

Based on original music by musician Duong Khac Linh and newly written lyrics, Shontelle performed the song emotionally with the advantage of a strong, resonant and bright voice.

The female singer said that because she loved the Vietnamese version and was touched by the story in the MV, she wanted to continue to convey positive energy and meaningful messages to global audiences.

The story in the MV revolves around a boy suffering from Thalassemia (congenital hemolysis). Shontelle said she once again wanted to contribute to spreading the positive message of the story, improving community understanding of Thalassemia disease, not only in Vietnam but also around the world.

Up to now, 2 MV versions with the participation of Vietnamese singers have achieved a total of 3.5 million views, equivalent to 175 million VND contributed to the Thalassemia treatment fund in Vietnam.

Shontelle has now returned to Barbados to visit family and rest after her stay in Vietnam. However, she also promised Vietnamese audiences that she would soon return to continue accompanying the volunteer projects she is pursuing.

Shontelle, born in 1985, began to be known to the audience from the song Colors in 2005 and is famous for the songs: Impossible, Super woman, No Gravity… She released her debut album Shontelligence in 2008 and the second album was Gravity (2010).

In addition, Shontelle also made a lot of impression on the audience with singles such as: Impossible, Count On Me… In her music career, Shontelle made her mark through many different roles including singer, rapper and songwriter.
