The North – South Expressway, the section passing through Nghe An, will soon have 3 more stops

While waiting for the rest stops to come into operation, the Ministry of Transport has directed agencies and units to organize temporary rest stops along the North-South Eastern Expressway, which do not have rest stops yet.

The North – South Expressway, the section from Hanoi to Vinh City (Nghe An) currently has 3 rest stops (2 stations currently being operated by investors and 1 temporary station).

In the near future, 3 more temporary stops will be arranged in Nghe An province. In the Nghi Son – Dien Chau section at Truong Vinh tunnel entrance (Km 386+360), there will be 2 temporary rest stops installed at Truong Vinh tunnel connecting Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces.

For the Dien Chau – Bai Vot route, there will be a temporary stop at the north of Than Vu tunnel gate (Km438), in Dien Chau district. At each point, stations will be arranged on both sides of the route.

Accordingly, at the above temporary rest stops, there is quite spacious space, convenient for people to stop and park. Currently, units are completing items and signs.

At the exit and entry branches of intersections with National Highways, there are currently gas stations and temporary rest areas to serve the needs of people.

Up to now, the project management boards have actively and urgently implemented the project and are ready to serve the people.

Accordingly, the North-South Expressway East from Hanoi to Vinh with a length of about 280km will have 5 rest stops (2 in operation and 3 temporary stations), with an average distance of 50-60km/station, ensuring Ensuring stopping needs for vehicles running on the route.
