With the view that people are the center of real estate, smart mobile devices are the main means of people in the digital world; The decision also clearly defines tasks and solutions for digital infrastructure development. In particular, focus on re-planning the frequency band, developing 5G mobile network infrastructure, upgrading 4G mobile networks, and soon commercializing 5G mobile networks. With the view that digital infrastructure needs to be developed first, Yen Minh district has concretized it into tasks for each year and period, in particular, focusing on prioritizing the development of telecommunications infrastructure. Recently, the specialized data transmission network system used in agencies has been developed and maintained effectively by Yen Minh district at the District Party Committee, District People’s Committee and 18 communes and towns. Fiber optic transmission network infrastructure provides broadband fixed internet services and 3G and 4G internet access services covering 100% of agencies, units, communes and towns. Along with that, to meet people’s increasing demand for mobile phones and internet access, telecommunications businesses in the area are increasing investment in infrastructure development and mobile information transceiver stations. (BTS station), eliminating mobile signal depressions, developing broadband internet. Currently, the entire district’s mobile phone coverage rate reaches 98%; The proportion of households with internet connection accounts for 60%; Telephone subscriber density reached 95 subscribers/100 people.

Faced with that reality, the unit has made efforts to overcome difficulties, mobilize human resources to install new BTS stations, expand coverage areas, and remove white concave areas. With technological solutions, techniques and optimization of network quality, the unit has developed, installed and maintained the operation of 53 BTS stations with over 2,000 km of broadband fiber optic cable to serve the people. It is expected that in 2024, the branch will install 10 new stations, striving to reduce 10 more areas with weak signal. At the same time, prepare technical conditions and equipment for 5G network coverage in central areas.

Carrying out the task of developing information technology and data center infrastructure, VNPT Yen Minh Branch has proactively deployed and maintained applications for management, exploitation, and serving leadership and direction. such as: iOffice operating and document management system; VNPT Portal, information system for handling administrative procedures VNPT iGate; basic medical management and health records… At the same time, provide and deploy digital signatures; Providing electronic receipt solutions for communes and towns. To serve the community conveniently, the unit focuses on upgrading infrastructure, ensuring network, information security, and serving well the administration and communication of the government, people, and businesses. Along with that, develop BTS stations, increase transmission speed, expand high-quality broadband telecommunications infrastructure in the direction of turning off 2G waves, reducing 3G stations, increasing the rate of 4G stations and being ready to develop network infrastructure. 5G.
