Continuing to move to the beer and beverage counter, the reporter noticed that the owner of this supermarket had cleverly displayed these imported products in a solemn manner, placed right in the aisle. It is also noted that the situation is similar to the products at the confectionery counter, on the products there are no additional Vietnamese labels in accordance with the law, and no import labels issued by the competent unit.

Specifically, at the children’s clothing and footwear counter, the imported products here are mainly labeled with Chinese characters and do not have any information about the importer of the goods in the Vietnamese market. Notably, some products still have “blank” information.

Continuing to move to the cosmetics counter, PV also noted a similar situation, hundreds of imported products without Vietnamese side labels were being sold openly as if there had never been any intervention from the authorities. .

It is worth mentioning that children’s toy products are being controlled very strictly by the authorities, because according to Vietnam Regulations No. 3:2019/BKHCN clearly stating that children’s toys are within the scope of of Technical Regulations must declare conformity in accordance with the technical regulations in Section 2 of this technical regulation, affix the conformity mark (CR mark) and label the goods before circulating on the market.
