At the meeting, delegates of the People’s Council of Kien Giang province considered dismissing Mr. Le Quoc Anh from the position of Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Kien Giang province due to a job transfer.
The Provincial People’s Council unanimously agreed to elect an additional member of the People’s Committee of Kien Giang province, term 2021-2026, for Mr. Le Huu Toan – Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Mr. Mai Van Huynh – Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Council of Kien Giang province said that at this meeting, based on reviewing the draft resolution documents submitted by the Provincial People’s Committee; Verification reports of the Economic and Budget Committee and the Provincial People’s Council’s Legal Committee; Based on current legal regulations and the actual situation of the locality, the Provincial People’s Council discussed and unanimously voted to pass 19 draft Resolutions.
For the field of public investment, these are important resolutions and are the legal basis for continued implementation, in order to speed up progress and increase disbursement rate.

“It is recommended that standing committees, committees, representative groups and Provincial People’s Council delegates monitor the process of implementing resolutions to ensure effectiveness,” Mr. Huynh emphasized.
Previously, on the afternoon of April 16, the Phu Quoc City Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Standing Committee of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee on cadre work.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee announced the decision to mobilize, rotate, and appoint Mr. Le Quoc Anh – Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People’s Committee, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, holding the position of Secretary of Phu Quoc City Party Committee, term 2020-2025 (replacing Mr. Tong Phuoc Truong).
