Announcing the Plan to implement national sector planning in the field of energy and minerals

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced 3 plans to implement national sector plans in the field of energy and minerals for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, including: Plan to implement planning for exploration, exploitation, processing and use of minerals; Plan for implementing the national energy master plan and Plan for implementing the planning for petroleum and gas storage and supply infrastructure.

Previously, the Prime Minister approved the promulgation of national sector plans in the energy and minerals sector for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. The plan has a particularly important meaning, opening up New development space for our country’s energy and mining industries to be more efficient and sustainable. At the same time, in accordance with the trend of developing green economy, circular economy, low carbon economy, in accordance with the views and policies of the Party and State and the actual capabilities of the country as well as international development trend.

Regarding planning for exploration, exploitation, processing and use of minerals, in Binh Phuoc province, there are 4 bauxite mine areas planned (total area of ​​nearly 76 thousand hectares). From the actual situation and impacts of the planning, Binh Phuoc has issued Report No. 94/BC-UBND, dated April 3, 2024 to propose and recommend to the Government, ministries and central branches. /.
