At around 5:30 a.m. on April 26, Sung Phai Commune Police (Lai Chau City, Lai Chau Province) received news about the incident at Ms. Sung Thi Ch’s family. (64 years old, residing in Trung Chai village) a murder occurred.
Sung Phai Commune Police reported to the City Police Command in coordination with the Criminal Police Department and functional departments of the Provincial Police to come to the scene to verify and clarify.
Police determined that the two victims who died were Ms. Sung Thi Ch. and Ms. Giang Thi L. (daughter of Mrs. Ch.); The suspect of the crime is Hang A Ho (42 years old, residing in Cu Nha La village, Sung Phai commune).
Initially, the investigation agency determined that Hang A Ho had an affair with Ms. L. Due to emotional conflicts, Hang A Ho used a sharp knife to stab Ms. L. and Ms. Ch to death.
After committing the crime, Hang A Ho locked the door and barricaded himself in the house, using a knife to stab himself multiple times in the stomach.
The police broke down the door, controlled Hang A Ho, confiscated the knife and took the subject to the emergency room at Lai Chau Provincial General Hospital.
According to the reporter’s source, Ms. L.’s husband passed away, and Hang A Ho’s wife also left for many years and did not return. There has been a romantic relationship between Hang A Ho and Ms. L. for more than 2 years now.
Currently, the case is being assigned to the Criminal Police Department to continue investigating and clarifying according to its authority.
This morning, on behalf of the Provincial Police Board of Directors, Colonel Tao Van Truong – Deputy Director of the Provincial Police came to the scene to direct the resolution of the case. At the same time, they encouraged, expressed condolences and gave 5 million VND to each victim’s family to support their families.
