500 children set a Vietnamese record with a Xoe dance performance involving many children throughout the country

On the evening of April 25, at Dien Bien Phu City Square (Dien Bien province), 200 children delegates attended the “Dien Bien Little Soldiers” Festival and 300 children of Dien Bien province set a Vietnamese record. with “Xoe dance performance with participation of children from 63 provinces and cities” performed to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory.



The Xoe dance performance on the evening of April 25 in Dien Bien Phu city had the participation of 500 children from 63 provinces and cities in the country.

This is a program in the series of activities of the 5th national “Dien Bien Little Soldiers” Festival in 2024, organized by the Central Team Council to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (7 /May 2024).

Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Chairwoman of the Central Team Council, said: The festival welcomed 200 children delegates between the ages of 10 and 15 years old. They are all bright examples in studying, training and working in the Team, representing the “Thousand Good Deeds” movement, good children of Uncle Ho, good Provincial Team commanders. Among the delegates, there are many children in difficult circumstances but trying to overcome them.

“This is an opportunity for children to be honored, exchange and learn and participate in meaningful activities, contributing to educating historical traditions, fostering patriotism and national pride for the young generation,” Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang added that.

Previously, the program’s organizing committee organized for children’s delegates to participate in flower and incense offering activities at the Martyrs’ Temple at Dien Bien Phu Battlefield; Visit Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum; Participate in the experiential activity program “Marching in the footsteps of heroes”; decorate the camp, display typical cultural and culinary products of localities and ethnic groups.
