Implementing the provisions of the Planning Law and assigned tasks, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has presided over and coordinated with relevant agencies to research and develop a plan to implement mineral planning.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment presides over and coordinates with ministries, ministerial-level agencies, and provincial People’s Committees to submit to competent authorities the issuance of land use plans to implement national planning; environmental impact assessment; policy framework on compensation, support, and resettlement to implement mineral planning; Issue guiding documents to remove obstacles in state management of minerals according to regulations; Report to competent authorities to consider adjusting, amending, supplementing and promulgating relevant legal documents. At the same time, preside and coordinate with the People’s Committee of the area where the minerals are located to develop a project to accurately delineate the coordinates and corners of the areas to be licensed to minimize the area of land occupied affected by mining projects…
At the Conference, delegates affirmed that, in the context of increasing demand and requirements for energy transition towards greening, which is taking place strongly on a global scale, planning and implementation plans This plays a particularly important role in the development of the energy and mining industries, as well as the entire economy.
