Regarding support for qualified young personnel to work for a limited time at agricultural cooperatives, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is submitting to the Provincial People’s Committee for approval a list of agricultural cooperatives to be supported for the period 2023-2025. According to the plan, starting from 2023, 60 young employees will be supported for 60 agricultural cooperatives and 20 long-term training supports for members and workers of agricultural cooperatives.

The roadmap to 2025 has at least 100,000 hectares of rice (equivalent to 300,000 hectares/year/three crops) and will reach 150,000 hectares of rice by 2030 (equivalent to 450,000 hectares/year/three crops). Participation in the project is expected to help farmers and cooperatives access many advanced production solutions, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase the value of rice products.
