Celebrating the 49th anniversary of the liberation of the South and unification of the country (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2024), International Labor Day May 1 and 70 years of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 – May 7, 2024), on the morning of April 26, the Standing Committee of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee held an incense and flower offering ceremony to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at Uncle Ho’s Temple and Uncle Ho’s Monument with Vietnamese farmers. Attending the incense and flower offering ceremony were comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Council of Thai Binh province; Comrades, members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the People’s Council, Provincial People’s Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Thai Binh Provincial National Assembly Delegation; leaders of departments, divisions, branches, unions and Thai Binh city.

Through the wars of national liberation and defense of the Fatherland, nearly 500,000 Thai Binh children have gone to fight and serve in almost every battlefield. At the end of the war, nearly 52,000 children of the homeland heroically sacrificed their lives, more than 5,500 mothers were awarded and posthumously awarded the title of Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, and tens of thousands of people were classified as people with meritorious services to the revolution.

Respectfully laying wreaths, spending a minute of silence and respectfully offering incense at Uncle Ho’s Temple, the delegates expressed their infinite gratitude and commemorated the great contributions of the great President Ho Chi Minh, who was devoted and sacrificed his entire life for the cause of national liberation, fighting for peace and happiness of the Vietnamese people and people of the world.

At the Martyrs’ Temple of Thai Binh province, delegates laid wreaths and observed a minute of silence to commemorate the outstanding sons and daughters of their homeland who heroically fought and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation. , for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people. The wreaths of the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, Provincial People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Binh province carry the words “Eternal gratitude to the heroic martyrs”.
