Of which, exported coffee products reached 135,714 tons, with a turnover value of 424 million USD (up 15% in volume, up 61% in value); rubber latex reached 80 tons, with a value of 0.12 million USD; Other goods (fruits, agricultural materials…) reached 48.9 million USD…

The sharp increase in export turnover value in the first 4 months of the year is attributed to the average export coffee price increasing by 40% over the same period, promoting growth of this key commodity industry. Along with that, other agricultural products such as pepper and fruit trees are also in harvest so the volume of goods is relatively large.

In particular, rising consumer demand in the world market in some main markets such as the EU, US, China… has motivated businesses to boost exports.

In 2023, total export turnover in Gia Lai province reaches 680 million USD. Of which, the coffee industry alone reached 490 million USD, and exported fruit products reached 120 million USD.
