The exhibition is arranged in 3 parts. Part 1, titled “From the land of the ancient Vietnamese to the name Dien Bien”, introduces Dien Bien before the 19th century and Dien Bien under the Nguyen Dynasty.
Part 2 with the theme “Dien Bien – Rendezvous of patriotism”, introduces Dien Bien during the French colonial period and Dien Bien Phu – a golden epic with the army’s “illustrious, earth-shaking” victory. , our people. From here, Dien Bien became a shining place, a glorious and heroic epic of the Vietnamese people.
Part 3 “Dien Bien – Innovation journey”, including content, from Dien Bien Farm to Dien Bien Phu City, planning and development of Dien Bien province. Many documents and images reflecting the efforts and achievements of the Party Committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in Dien Bien province will be introduced to the public.
In particular, more than 300 documents and images are introduced from the National Archives Center, the Historical Archives Center and Museum of Dien Bien Province, the Institute of Sino-Nom Studies, the Archives of the French Ministry of Defense, and some agencies and units of Dien Bien province.
