According to the initial investigation, around October 2023, after receiving a report from Ms. HT (residing in H.My Tu, Soc Trang) about having a Facebook account posting sensitive photos of her on social networks, the Security Department network and crime prevention using high technology, Soc Trang Provincial Police coordinated with Soc Trang City Police to investigate and clarify. Through investigation, the police determined that Huynh Tuan Dat was the person who committed the above act.
Dat initially admitted that after buying an old phone, he discovered that the phone had many nude photos of women stored on it, so Dat downloaded it to his phone, blurred it, and posted it on his personal Facebook page.
The case is being further investigated and clarified by Soc Trang City Police.
