(PLO) – The vice chairman of Tan Hiep district was prosecuted for irresponsibility causing serious consequences, due to his involvement in a case of property appropriation fraud.
On April 24, the Police Investigation Agency of Kien Giang Province prosecuted Mr. Tran Minh Vu, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Tan Hiep district, Kien Giang province, for irresponsibility causing serious consequences.
Previously, Kien Giang Provincial Police prosecuted a case of property appropriation fraud occurring in Rach Gia city to investigate the case of Ms. Thach Thi Hieu’s use of 3 Land Use Rights Certificates issued by the People’s Committee. Tan Hiep district issued for fraud.
The investigation and verification process so far has had enough documents and grounds to prove Mr. Tran Minh Vu’s behavior, which has enough elements to constitute the crime of irresponsibility causing serious consequences according to Article 360 of the 2015 Penal Code.
Previously, at the 22nd and 23rd sessions, the Inspection Committee of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee assessed that Mr. Tran Minh Vu in the process of leading, directing, and performing his duties was still lax and lacking in inspection. Supervise the implementation of procedures and procedures, and directly sign and issue land use rights certificates that do not comply with the processes and procedures prescribed by law.
The People’s Procuracy of Kien Giang province also sent an official dispatch to the Standing Committee of the People’s Council of Tan Hiep district on the prosecution of the defendant, and issued a ban on Mr. Tran Minh Vu from leaving his place of residence.
