Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Hanh received a courtesy visit from the delegation of Xay Nha Bu Ly province (Laos)

On the afternoon of April 26, comrade Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, paid a courtesy visit to the delegation of Xay Nha Bu Ly province (Laos) led by comrade Phet Phi Xay Xun Vi Lay, Deputy Governor of the province who was on a trip. At the reception, comrade Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, thanked Xay Nha Bu Ly province for sending the province’s art troupe to perform at the 2024 Ha Long Carnaval Program. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee also informed some key features about the socio-economic development situation of Quang Ninh province in recent times. At the same time, it is proposed that in the coming time, Quang Ninh province and Xay Nha Bu Ly continue to strengthen cooperation in fields that are the strengths of both sides. In particular, Quang Ninh province will support the opening of display booths to introduce agricultural products and specialties of Xay Nha Bu Ly province at tourist destinations in Quang Ninh; continue to increase the number of scholarships for Laotian students at the province’s educational institutions; suggested that the two sides further promote cooperation in the field of information and communications. Especially the propaganda and promotion of the images of the two localities in the press and media of the two provinces. The two sides also further enhanced traditional educational content about the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos as well as the friendly relationship between the two provinces for the younger generation.

Comrade Phet Phi Xay Xun Vi Lay, Deputy Governor of Xay Nha Bu Ly Province, thanked Quang Ninh province for the respectful welcome to the delegation. He proposed that the two provinces continue to further promote cooperation and exchange of delegations at the provincial level as well as between departments and branches.
