On the afternoon of April 26, Mr. Ho Sy Dung, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Truong Thi Ward, Vinh City, Nghe An Province, said that engineers and soldiers helped handle the bomb and bring it to the detonation area according to regulations.
Previously, on the afternoon of April 25, a group of workers using a excavator to build a drainage ditch system across Dinh Bat Tuy Street, Truong Thi Ward, Vinh City, scooped up a metal object.
When checking, workers found a bomb underneath that was 1.1 m long and 41 cm in diameter with the detonator and tail fin intact.
