The Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People’s Committee issued a decision to impose a total administrative fine of 1,050,000,000 VND on 3 enterprises operating in the textile and garment sector due to environmental violations when illegally discharging wastewater into the system. In particular, Sweet Land – Tex Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has a domestic wastewater drainage pipe flowing into a storm water drainage manhole. Hung Yen Provincial People’s Committee fined Sweet Land – Tex company 300 million VND, Khai Hoan company 400 million VND.

In addition, Dai Hoa Textile and Garment Company in Pho Noi Textile and Garment Industrial Park was also fined 350 million VND for illegally discharging wastewater into the stormwater drainage system.
