Temporarily detain a group of subjects who falsely declared to illegally export metals abroad

On April 26, news from the Border Guard Command of Hai Phong City said that it had just coordinated with the authorities to solve the HP424p case, temporarily detaining a group of subjects with signs of making false declarations to export metal. Illegal goods passing through Hai Phong port border gate for consumption abroad.

Previously, on May 24 and 25, at Hai An port, Hai An district, Hai Phong city, functional forces of Hai Phong City Border Guard presided and coordinated with the Drug Prevention Task Force. and northern criminals (Department of Drug and Crime Prevention, Border Guard), Hai Phong Customs Department, Hai Phong City Police and relevant authorities stopped and inspected 6 containers that had been made. After completing customs clearance procedures, the goods are being loaded onto the Haian Time ship to prepare for shipping to Thailand for consumption.

The shipment in 6 containers belongs to NHT Trading and Investment Company Limited (address in Hap Linh ward, Bac Ninh city, Bac Ninh province), and was declared according to Customs procedures on April 22.

The declared goods are multi-layer plywood, made from planted acacia wood, 100% new, made in Vietnam. However, through inspection, it was discovered that in the 6 containers mentioned above, the goods were not plywood, but all copper alloys, in blocks, plates, blisters…

The total weight is 168 tons, estimated value of 30 billion VND.

Currently, Hai Phong City Border Guard is coordinating with functional forces to temporarily seize all of the above falsely declared goods to organize investigation, verification, and handling according to the provisions of law.
