At 2:50 p.m. on April 26, in the Rung River area, about 600 m to 700 m from King Ba Temple (Yen Giang ward), the search team of Nam Hoa ward, Quang Yen town, discovered and rescued found a female body wearing a blue raincoat and boots. The location was found about 10 km from the location where the boat capsized.

The victim’s body was brought ashore by the town’s Search and Rescue Steering Committee.

The working group promptly informed the town’s Search and Rescue Steering Committee to bring the victim’s body to shore and take it to the town’s medical center. Through verification and identification by family members, the victim was found to be Ms. Nguyen Thi Nghia, born in 1979, residing in Dinh 1 village, Lien Vi commune.

The authorities of the province and Quang Yen town are still continuing positive coordinate to search for the last victim of the boatwreck around the area near Vua Ba Temple to Ben Rung bridge.
