Taking place on the 18th day of the third lunar month every year, Trang An Festival is a unique cultural feature, associated with outstanding global values of the World Heritage Site of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, Ninh Binh. The festival aims to honor and pay tribute to His Holiness Quy Minh Dai Vuong and his predecessors and emperors who have contributed to building and protecting the country.
As part of activities to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex being registered as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, Trang An Festival 2024 is held with many meaningful cultural activities. A new feature of this year’s Festival is that there will be a dragon procession from Tam Quan gate to Trang An wharf and throughout the festival journey on Sao Khe river.
