In 2023 alone, through inspection work, Chau Duc District People’s Committee issued a Decision to sanction administrative violations: 07 cases, with a total fine of 107 million VND (sanctions for administrative violations of order and order). construction: 01 case, with a fine of 17.5 million VND; sanction for administrative violations in the land field: 06 cases, with a total fine of 89.5 million VND).

In addition, Chau Duc District People’s Committee has established inspection teams to inspect land management and construction in communes and towns. The District People’s Committee has issued documents directing and rectifying the People’s Committees of communes and towns to strengthen inspection, promptly detect and handle violations in land use and illegal and unauthorized construction. ; Strictly manage to prevent improper use, self-opening of traffic roads to separate plots and illegally sell plots.

Besides, according to Chairman of Chau Duc District People’s Committee Nguyen Tan Ban, in land management, Chau Duc district has done well the work of compensation, site clearance, and resettlement support. Chau Duc is a locality with many advantages in terms of land, climate… favorable for the development of crops, livestock, and diversification of agricultural products with high economic value. Therefore, in recent years, Chau Duc has focused on planning and developing high-tech agricultural chains to promote and exploit the advantages of land resources, increase agricultural production efficiency, and contribute to improving agricultural production. high income for people, sustainable poverty reduction.

Chairman of the District People’s Committee Nguyen Tan Ban said: Recently, Chau Duc district has effectively implemented Project No. 04-DA/TU dated July 28, 2017 on developing high-tech agriculture until 2025 and Chau Duc district agricultural development project to 2025, vision to 2030. Accordingly, Chau Duc has promoted agricultural development in the direction of commodity production, improving productivity, quality, efficiency, and profitability. competitiveness, focusing on developing key products and OCOP products of the district, contributing to accelerating the progress of building new rural areas, improving material life, and increasing income for farmers.

To date, Chau Duc district has planned an area of ​​agricultural production land with high technology applications of 4,204 hectares, including: 435 hectares of annual crops (including 12 hectares produced in greenhouses and 423 hectares using irrigation technology). economical) farming in greenhouses (mainly vegetables of all kinds); 3,769 hectares of upland crops apply economical irrigation technology, including: 1,300 hectares of pepper (including 467 hectares of pepper produced according to the certification process); 2,259 hectares of fruit trees and 210 hectares of other perennial trees. In the livestock sector, there are 22 farms that build closed, cold cages, including: 09 chicken farms with a total herd of about 600,000 chickens and 13 pig farms with a total herd of about 40,000 chickens.

Chau Duc district has also spent tens of billions of VND to implement many policies to support people in developing high-tech agricultural production. In 2023 alone, the District People’s Committee has approved 17 models/projects, including: 07 projects to replace disease-resistant noodle varieties; 01 project to produce F1 hybrid pumpkin for export; 01 model to support VietGAP certification for vegetables and mushrooms; 01 model supporting VietGAP certification for fruit trees and cocoa trees; 05 biomass corn growing models; 01 abalone mushroom growing model; 01 model of growing Ganoderma mushrooms. In addition, the District People’s Committee organized and coordinated 41 training classes to transfer science and technology in crop and livestock farming and other contents in the field of agriculture and rural development for 1,300 attendees.

In particular, to promptly deploy the State’s support policies, agricultural programs and projects for poor households, the District People’s Committee has established an agricultural production support group for poor households in the district. . Thereby, instructing poor households how to care for plants and animals, intervene and provide timely help when diseases arise on seedlings, minimizing the loss of initial capital.

Thanks to timely support from the State, many households have improved the value of agricultural production, increased income, escaped poverty and had a better life. According to Chau Duc District People’s Committee, by the end of 2023 there will be no more poor households in the district.
