BPO – On the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the liberation of the South and unification of the country (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2024), on the afternoon of April 26, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Tue Hien and leaders of departments and branches , leaders of Binh Long town visited and offered incense to commemorate the people who died at the National Historical Site of 3,000 people’s graves in Binh Long town.

The delegation respectfully offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Traditional House. At the gravesite monument, the group offered flowers, incense and spent a minute of silence to remember the compatriots who died in the 1972 “Red Summer” war at An Loc, Binh Long. After the visitation ceremony, the group came to burn incense on the mass grave.

The graves of 3,000 people were recognized by the Ministry of Culture and Information (now the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) as a national historical site in 1985 – this is the place that marks the war crimes of the US and puppets.
