Testing and safety assessment of trains on Metro Line 1 has been conducted from 2023 to present. Accordingly, the testing process is carried out according to strict Japanese and European standards to ensure the highest level of safety for the Project when put into operation. According to Dien Bien Phu veteran Tran Quang Trieu (former Deputy Commander of Army Corps 4), Metro Line 1 reflects the economic development process of the country, especially Ho Chi Minh City.
When Metro Line 1 officially comes into service, traffic congestion will be resolved. People’s lives have also been improved in a more civilized and modern direction.

To be able to conduct train running tests in ATO/ATP mode, the devices have previously been tested through steps such as factory testing, single installation testing, and interface testing between devices. together and test integrating multiple systems simultaneously.
To carry out this automatic test, the Contractor mobilized 7 trains to run simultaneously from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. every day with an interval of about 10 minutes/trip. At each station, trains will stop for 30 seconds and the platform gate system will open automatically.
Along with the testing process is measurement and evaluation work to ensure safe integrated testing systems. It is expected that the testing period of this mode will be conducted for about 2 weeks, after which the testing phase of integrating all systems of the project will begin.
