According to information, the owner of this castle is Mr. Nguyen Vinh Thoan (My Thanh, Yen Thanh). He is called a “junk tycoon” by people in the area, rising from days of poverty and extreme hardship. Currently, Mr. Thoan is working as a collector of scrap metal and selling auto parts.

It is known that the castle has a total floor area of ​​nearly 1,000 m2 located on a land area of ​​7,200 m2, construction started in February 2022, has 3 main floors, 3 attic floors, the highest tumulus is 18m, total height is nearly 40m. The castle is designed according to French architecture with the main color tones being copper gold and blue purple.

The campus is spacious, planted with many ornamental trees, and has a Koi fish pond. Inside the house, the interior is mainly made of intricately carved wooden furniture, and there is especially an elevator for convenient movement between floors.

Mr. Thoan said that although the castle is not yet completed, the family has opened it to welcome visitors from the beginning of the Lunar New Year Giap Thin to the present.

“My house is in the countryside, when people see a beautiful house, they like to visit. So I decided to open the door for everyone to come in and see, admire, and take pictures every day.

Initially the family opened in the morning, from 7am to 11:30am. Then I saw people coming at all hours, so I opened the door all day.”the Nghe tycoon confided.

Mr. Thoan estimates that on a normal day, there are 200 – 300 people visiting, and on Tet holidays, there are more than 500 people per day. He does not sell tickets or charge anyone to come.

Many tourists are overwhelmed by the beauty and luxury of the castle. Some people visit on the way, some out of curiosity, others because they want to “get lucky”. Many people in Ha Tinh, Thanh Hoa… and even foreign visitors also visit.

Many interior and interior items such as tables, chairs, clocks… are meticulously plated with 24k gold and industrial gold.

Mr. Thoan revealed that the estimated cost of building the castle is about 100 billion VND. However, the “junk tycoon” also expressed that only when the house is completed will there be a specific number.

In addition, the castle owner also revealed that the amount of electricity he pays each month is about 25 – 27 million VND. This amount of money immediately made everyone “break out in a cold sweat” because it was too much.

According to the “giant” Nghe An, because the castle turns on the electricity day and night, the cost is higher than usual. “From the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024 until now, on average every day there have been hundreds of visitors coming to see the house and take photos. I leave the electricity on in the house all day and night, so each month the electricity cost is from 25 – 27 million VND.
