Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, said that the opening program of OCOP Quang Ninh Fair – Summer 2024 is an event in a series of nearly 190 events, activities, and programs. Tourism stimulus in Quang Ninh province will take place this year.

According to Mr. Cuong, OCOP Quang Ninh Fair – Summer 2024 is an annual trade promotion activity in the program “One commune, one ward” of Quang Ninh province to promote OCOP products in Quang Ninh to a large number of people. domestic and foreign consumption.
The fair acts as a service product and spiritual food that satisfies the shopping needs of domestic and foreign tourists coming to Quang Ninh during this holiday. At the same time, this Fair is also an opportunity for units and businesses to learn and change production and business methods towards modernity, keeping up with the trends of the new era of industry 4.0.

OCOP Quang Ninh Fair – Summer 2024 is divided into 2 areas. The area inside the Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace of Quang Ninh province arranges 200 booths, displaying and introducing over 500 OCOP products, aquatic products and seafood from 13 localities in the province; Over 750 typical, typical and regional products from 45 provinces and cities in the country.
The area outside the Provincial Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace, arranges 100 booths to display, introduce and sell craft village products, handicrafts, ceramics, ornamental creatures, cuisine… to meet the needs Diverse shopping needs of residents and tourists.
A special feature, this Fair also arranged a booth to exhibit typical products of the Provincial Farmers’ Association; the booth displaying real, fake, and poor quality goods of the Provincial Consumer and Rights Protection Association; booth promoting e-commerce activities through the OCOP Quang Ninh e-commerce platform – which provides genuine OCOP Quang Ninh products online to consumers.
Notably, when shopping at the fair, residents and visitors can choose appropriate, diverse and convenient forms of payment with non-cash payments.
As expected, the duration of OCOP Quang Ninh Fair – Summer 2024 will last from April 26 to May 1, 2024.
