On April 26, the image of two men urinating right on the sea embankment in Vung Tau City (Ba Ria – Vung Tau province) was posted and caused a stir on social networks.

According to the shared image, two men – one wearing a white shirt, the other wearing a black shirt – are standing right on the sea embankment on Tran Phu Street (Vung Tau City). and blatantly urinated in front of many passersby. The car with license plate number 70A-469… is parked in the opposite direction nearby.

Images shared on social networks made many people angry, especially people living in Vung Tau City.

Ms. Nguyen Van Anh (Vung Tau City) said that Vung Tau City currently has many public toilets in the Front Beach and Back Beach areas. There are also many cafes and restaurants around there where you can use the restroom

“For many years, the sea embankment area has been chosen by many tourists and even local people as a place to sit in the fresh air, watch the sea, and exercise. Going to the toilet right in this area is both unsightly and harmful. seriously affects the environment” – Ms. Van Anh said.

Another person said that the authorities need to step in to punish these two tourists for urinating. At the same time, it is necessary to clarify and consider handling the behavior of driving a car parked in the opposite direction as shown in the image.

After the above image was posted, some people reported to Vung Tau City’s service and tourism hotline, managed by the Department of Culture and Information.

Leaders of the Department of Culture and Information said they had received information reported by people. The department has asked the authorities to verify the case and handle it strictly to prevent it from happening again and affecting the image of the locality.
