Image of magnificent stalactites inside a newly discovered cave in Quang Binh
On the afternoon of April 26, Mr. Hoang Trong Duc, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Truong Son commune (Quang Ninh district, Quang Binh province), said that during the survey, a business with local tourism activities suddenly discovered revealing a mysterious cave with strangely beautiful stalactites.
Previously, a group of employees of Truong Tuan Production and Trading Co., Ltd. conducted a survey in the Truong Son forest area when they suddenly discovered the above cave. Notably, this cave has no traces of humans.
At first sight, the discoverers were impressed by the sparkling stalactites as beautiful as a natural silk curtain with vibrant colors, creating the feeling of entering a fairyland.
This newly discovered cave is 2 km long, the cave entrance is 8 m high, 9 m wide, has 4 cave branches with 100 m of dry cave, the rest is water cave. The highest place inside the cave is about 35 m, with an underground river system.
The survey team and local people temporarily named this cave Lu cave. From Sat village (Truong Son commune), it takes about 1 hour to walk to Lu cave.
Immediately after the discovery, Truong Tuan Production and Trading Company Limited reported to the People’s Committee of Truong Son commune, People’s Committee of Quang Ninh district and Department of Tourism of Quang Binh province.
Mr. Hoang Trong Duc, Chairman of Truong Son commune, said that the local government will soon conduct a survey trip to have a basis to report and propose tourism development plans (if any) to superiors.
“By looking at the images, it can be confirmed that this new cave, when put into tourism exploitation, promises to become an attractive destination for those who love exploration and nature, as well as an interesting mystery in the future. culture and history of the Truong Son area” – Mr. Duc said.
