Effectively deploy policy credit programs

In the first months of 2024, more than 8,000 poor households, near-poor households, and households just escaping poverty in Thanh Hoa province have received over 600 billion VND from policy credit capital to invest in economic development; Nearly 1,400 households in difficult areas borrowed capital to invest in production and business development. In addition, policy credit capital also contributes to support and job creation; constructing and renovating clean water and sanitation facilities to meet standards; student loans, labor export program.

Speaking at the conference, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Thi requested the Representative Board of Directors of the Bank for Social Policies at all levels to continue to advise and organize the good implementation of Directive No. 40 of the Party Central Committee Secretariat on strengthening the Party’s leadership over social policy credit.

Comrade Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee assigned Thanh Hoa Bank for Social Policies to focus on implementing well the credit plan targets in 2024; Closely coordinate with provincial-level entrusted associations and organizations to promptly disburse and recover policy capital; We request the Representative Board of Directors of Policy Banks at all levels to focus on implementing policy credit programs well, promptly meeting the need for loans to serve production and business, create jobs, and contribute to improve the lives of poor households, ethnic minority households and other policy beneficiaries. Socio-political organizations strengthen coordination with social policy banks to deploy solutions to improve the quality of policy credit; Build a model commune transaction point, a model savings and loan group, typically advanced in implementing entrustment activities.
