At the 30th National Student Mathematics Olympiad, 2024, Pham Van Dong University’s Student Mathematics Olympiad team has 7 participants. As a result, the school won 5 prizes, with 2 First prizes in Algebra and Calculus going to student Nguyen Le Duy, Nguyen Gia Vuong won Second prize in Calculus and Nguyen Thi Minh Huyen won Third prize in Algebra. Among them, student Nguyen Le Duy excellently won the Special Prize by bringing home 2 First Prizes at the same time.

This year, the exam was held in Da Nang City with the participation of 95 delegations, nearly 700 students and 200 lecturers from universities, colleges and institutes nationwide. This is an intellectual playground with the desire to contribute to improving the quality of teaching and learning Mathematics, promoting the learning movement of students; At the same time, discover and foster students who are good at Mathematics at universities, colleges and academies nationwide.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People’s Committee to 3 winning students and 2 instructors teaching the team. In addition, the school awarded Certificates of Merit and flowers to congratulate lecturers with contributions at the exam.

On this occasion, Pham Van Dong University also rewarded the school’s competition team for winning the first prize at the “Rhetoric about my book” contest organized by the Department of Information and Communications in collaboration with the Provincial Youth Union.
