On April 25, 2024, Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation (VATM) coordinated with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion to organize Blood donation festival “A drop of blood – Love to give”.

This is an annual event held every year, so many officials and employees have expressed their excitement, enthusiasm, and willingness to participate in blood donation.

Mr. Ho Tuan Sy – Deputy General Director of VATM donated blood at the program.

Many VATM officials and employees lined up to register to donate blood.

Exciting atmosphere at the festival.

Ms. Nguyen Thi To Hoai – Deputy Secretary of the VATM Youth Union said: “Currently, ischemia still occurs in many places, especially on holidays like the upcoming April 30 – May 1.” . Therefore, we launched and organized this program with the purpose of sending valuable blood units and at the same time encouraging the spirit of patients in need of blood.”

Whenever the Corporation launches blood donation, Ms. Hoang Thi Ngoc Anh (Air Traffic Management Center) always arranges work to participate. Previously, she donated blood many times when she was in her hometown of Da Nang. With a small figure, Ms. Anh shared her successful blood donation experience by going to bed early the night before and having a full breakfast. “Blood donation is a noble humanitarian gesture. Donating blood proves that your health is good enough. That is both a good sign and an opportunity for me to help more people,” Ms. Ngoc Anh expressed.

Ms. Ngoc Anh always thinks: Do good deeds, people’s hearts will shine brighter!

Clearly aware of the sense of responsibility to the social community, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tu (ATTECH Flight Management Technology Co., Ltd.) feels very proud to be able to contribute the “most quintessential” things of youth to community. “In the immediate future, donating blood is to share a small part of your body with the patient, and then to help yourself by getting free health checks and blood reimbursement in the future. I don’t know and probably won’t have the opportunity to meet my blood recipients, but I know that at the time I donated blood, there was a patient who was about to return to his family. It’s a really happy thing,” Mr. Tu confided.

Mr. Tu hopes that the technicians who receive the blood will send it to the patients on his behalf, thereby giving them hope to live to fight the disease.

Mr. Luu Van Chieu (Flight Operations Management Department) said that donating blood has become a habit of his for many years: “A drop of blood is thicker than water. I really hope healthy people will participate in donating blood.” regularly to help patients in need of blood. Through this, I would like to send a message to patients to try to be optimistic and feel secure in treatment, because people like me, VATM brothers and the community will always accompany you.”

Mr. Luu Van Chieu donated blood for the 6th time at the program.

Some beautiful moments at the show:
