Nguyen Dinh Chieu Library won 3 awards at the 2024 National Librarians Festival

Awarding prizes to units.

The competition program of the Ben Tre Delegation has the theme Vietnam – The Country by the Waves, including 4 parts. Part 1: Introducing the lineup about local characteristics, briefly describing the participating units using the folk performance type Van Tien poetry speaking, the culture of ethnic groups such as Kinh, Chinese, Cham, Khmer. Part 2: Introducing the series of books “The Battle of Dien Bien Phu through the eyes of the French” by author Jules Roy, published by Ho Chi Minh City Publishing House; “History of the Armed Forces of Ben Tre Province (1945 – 2020), volume 1: 30 years of resistance (1945 – 1975)” organized by the Party Committee, Provincial Military Command and “Legend of the Dong Khoi homeland” ” drafted by the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee, published by the People’s Army Publishing House. The content focuses on highlighting the value and evaluating the magnitude of the cause of victory of the Dien Bien Phu campaign using sources from the Colonel and French Writer; focusing on introducing the contributions of the provincial armed forces during the resistance period against the French, contributing to the glorious history of the Vietnam People’s Army. In particular, the Dong Khoi movement is portrayed through the book’s introduction. Part 3: Introducing the model ““Building Ho Chi Minh cultural space at worship facilities in Ben Tre province” has been applied effectively in recent times. Part 4: Talent, singing and dancing “A Round of Vietnam”, composed by Dong Thien Duc.

At the end of the festival, Nguyen Dinh Chieu Library Group won third prize overall.
