The highlight of Tay Hoa district in implementing the program in recent years is that the rate of poor households has decreased each year, such as in 2022, a decrease of 288 poor households; By 2023, 199 poor households will be reduced. Currently, the whole district still has 782 poor households (of these, 604 poor households are unable to work, 178 poor households are able to work). The district strives to reduce the number of households by 178 households by the end of 2024 (poor households with the ability to work).

This result is thanks to the fact that over the past years, the District People’s Committee has focused on leading, directing and organizing the implementation of sustainable poverty reduction policies, achieving many important results, and loan support activities for poor households. , near-poor households have received special attention from associations and unions at all levels. Thereby, poor and near-poor households have been able to utilize loans to develop production to escape poverty sustainably, aiming to become legitimately rich.

Besides highly appreciating the efforts of Tay Hoa district, members of the monitoring team also pointed out the limitations that the district needs to overcome, which are the lack of sustainability in job creation; Coordination between agencies and units in implementing poverty reduction policies in some communes and towns is still not synchronous, leading to low effectiveness; The awareness of a part of the people is still limited, especially the idea of ​​waiting and relying on investment from the state budget is still there, self-reliance and self-reliance have not been properly promoted…
