Agree to let Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue step down as Politburo member and Chairman of the National Assembly

Specifically, the Central Committee is considering removing Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue, Politburo member, Chairman of the 15th National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, term 2021 – from holding positions and leaving work. 2026.

Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue is a key leader of the Party and State, received basic training, and grew up from the grassroots; assigned to hold many important leadership positions of the Party and State.

However, according to the report of the Central Inspection Committee and the authorities, he violated the Regulations on what party members cannot do, the Regulations on the responsibility of cadres and party members to set an example, before All members are members of the Politburo, members of the Secretariat, members of the Party Central Committee and are responsible for the head according to the Party’s regulations and State laws. Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue’s violations and shortcomings have caused bad public opinion, affecting the reputation of the Party, the State and him personally.

Clearly aware of his responsibility to the Party, State and People, Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue has submitted an application to resign from his assigned positions and take a leave of absence from work.

Based on the current regulations of the Party and State and considering Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue’s wishes, the Party Central Committee agreed to let Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue step down from his positions as Politburo member and Executive Committee member.
