By 5:00 p.m. the same day, with the efforts of about 700 people from the “4 on-site” forces of Lao Chai and Xin Chai communes, the fire was basically controlled.
Currently, there is only 1 fire point left in Phuong Tien commune, which is still complicated, due to high winds and a lot of vegetation.
