The Congress established the Dong Nai Wushu and Dragon Lion Federation for the 2024-2029 term

(DN)- On the afternoon of April 26, the Campaign Committee for the establishment of the Wushu and Dragon Lion Federation of Dong Nai province held its first Congress, term 2024-2029.

Attending the congress were Vice President of the Vietnam Lion and Dragon Federation Nguyen Thi Phuong Lan; Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Bui Thanh Nam and 31 official delegates representing 11 districts and cities, 11 wushu clubs and 61 lion and dragon art troupes operating in the province .

Regarding wushu and dragon lion activities, there are currently 11 wushu clubs in the province with more than 370 members practicing; There are 61 active art troupes attracting 1,550 members to practice and perform.

However, lion and dragon art troupes operate only spontaneously, without general management or technical guidance in accordance with the professional regulations of the Vietnam Lion and Dragon Federation.

Dong Nai Province Wushu and Dragon Master Federation was established under Decision No. 886/QD-UBND dated April 4, 2024 of the Provincial People’s Committee, to create favorable conditions for the development of wushu and dragon master in Dong Nai. in the coming years.

The Congress approved the Federation charter and elected the Executive Committee of Dong Nai Province Wushu and Lion Lion Federation, term I, consisting of 23 members. Mr. Tran Quoc Van holds the position of Chairman of the Federation, term I for the 2024-2029 term and Mr. Nguyen Vo Tan Hung is the permanent Vice President of the federation and General Secretary.
