The dispatch clearly stated: On April 23, reporter Mai Huy Manh (working at VnExpress electronic newspaper), is currently a member of the Vietnam Journalists Association; and reporter Nguyen Van Cung (working at VTV Times under Vietnam Television) while working at the scene to provide information and images of the fire in Viet Yen village, Ngu Hiep commune, Thanh Tri district, Hanoi city was suddenly chased by three subjects, kicked, punched, kicked, snatched and thrown, causing the reporter to suffer injuries to his head, temples, left and right wrists, causing bleeding. The thuggish behavior of this group of subjects has caused confusion and frustration among public opinion among members and journalists.
