This is one of two projects implemented on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign by the French Embassy in Vietnam, with financial support from the French Development Agency (AFD), and other organizations. other, to simulate and introduce relics and locations according to the developments of this historic battle, while contributing to renewing the relationship between France and Vietnam.
Within the framework of the project “Historical tour of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign”, the French Embassy in Vietnam, the French Development Agency (AFD) and the People’s Committee of Dien Bien province will coordinate to build a historical route by 3 languages (French – English – Vietnamese) including 16 plaques located near historical relics (locations, monuments, equipment), marking main locations in the center of Dien Bien Phu city, from there Design tours to help visitors better understand the history of the Dien Bien Phu campaign on the ground.
This work was also carried out with the support of a French archaeologist, approved by authorities in Vietnam.

On May 5, the first items in the Hope Fund project accompanying the French Embassy will be launched, contributing to the mission of reminiscing about the past, looking towards the future, and helping young people find about origins and better understanding of Vietnamese history.
The project is also expected to create a highlight to attract tourists to Dien Bien Phu city in the near future.
This is also the opening event for a series of accompanying activities of FPT Corporation and the Hope Foundation towards the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory. From April 26-28, the Hope Foundation and FPT officials and employees will begin the journey “Follow in Dien Bien’s footsteps”.
Accordingly, the volunteer group will participate in the inauguration and handover event of new projects for students, teachers and people of Dien Bien as gratitude to the heroic land./.
