Ha Giang supports funding to build housing for union members and workers

In the past 5 years, Ha Giang Provincial Labor Confederation has supported 260 union members and workers to build housing with a total cost of over 10 billion VND. The constantly spreading program has contributed to the effective implementation of guidelines and policies in helping and supporting trade union members and workers in difficult circumstances to have stable housing and peace of mind to work and work. In order to continue to effectively implement the “Trade Union Shelter” Program for the period 2024 – 2028, the Ha Giang Provincial Labor Confederation sets a number of targets: Every year, 100% of grassroots unions do well in propaganda work, mobilize union members and workers to participate in support; campaign level of 70,000 VND/person/year; Each year, campaigning to support the program reaches 2.5 billion VND or more. Strive to help and support the construction of new “Trade Union Shelter” housing for 250 trade union member households or more, support level of 50 million VND/household. Also at the conference, the Confederation of Labor of Ha Giang province awarded funds to support the construction of a “Trade Union Shelter” for 8 union members and workers. At the same time, the Provincial Labor Federation awarded Certificates of Merit to 14 collectives and 14 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the “Trade Union Warm Home” Program for the period 2019 – 2023.
