On the morning of April 26, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police chaired a conference to agree on the Provincial People’s Committee’s plan on arranging and organizing forces to participate in protecting security and order at the facility. The Law on Forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots was passed by the 15th National Assembly at the 6th Session and takes effect from July 1, 2024. This is an important basis for consolidating, arranging, and arranging forces, streamlining focal points associated with perfecting the functions, tasks, and working relationships of these forces at the grassroots; to create a legal corridor for operations and further improve the quality and effectiveness of state management of security and order in grassroots areas.

Currently, in Thanh Hoa province there are 558 communes, wards and towns with 4,357 villages, hamlets, residential groups and residential areas, including 4,357 leaders of the Security and Order Protection Team. In recent years, these forces have made many important contributions, actively supporting the police forces of communes, wards and towns in ensuring security and order in the area.

To prepare the conditions for effective implementation of the Law on Forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, the Provincial Police has consulted with branches to develop a plan to arrange and organize forces participating in protecting security and order. at the facility to ensure science and maximize the role and responsibility of this force in ensuring security and order at the facility.

At the conference, delegates agreed on a plan for each currently active village, hamlet, residential group, and residential area to establish a Security and Order Protection Team with at least 3 members in accordance with the law. This organization will be under the comprehensive leadership of the Party Committee, the management of the People’s Committee at the commune, ward, and town levels and the guidance, assignment, and inspection of the Commune-level Police to contribute to improving public efficiency. Ensuring security and order at the facility. This plan will be submitted to the Provincial People’s Council by the Provincial People’s Committee at the next meeting.
