Today, on the land of the historic Ancient Capital, in the space of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, a place marking the long history of humanity and the Vietnamese people, Ninh Binh province cooperates. In cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam National Committee for UNESCO solemnly organized the 10th Anniversary of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization ( UNESCO) registered it as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage.

Ninh Binh province is proud to have many unique landscapes and historical-cultural relics. Closely follow the leadership and direction of the Party Central Committee, the Government and the National Assembly, especially the close attention, leadership and direction of Party and State leaders of different periods and agencies. Center; Since 2001, the Party Committee, Government and People of Ninh Binh province have implemented an economic model shifting from “brown” to “green”, focusing on developing tourism and services based on conservation and promotion. cultural – historical, natural – ecological values. Early identified the potential and value, focused on research, and developed submission documents, so that on June 25, 2014, Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex was registered by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage. world, with outstanding global values ​​of: (1) The process of geological and geomorphological evolution represents the formation and tectonics of the earth’s crust; (2) The aesthetics of natural landscapes have existed for millions of years; (3) The process of human settlement and continuous adaptation over more than 30,000 years of history. Becoming the first and only “dual” heritage of Vietnam and Southeast Asia to date.

Immediately after Trang An became a World Heritage Site, the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, and People’s Committee of Ninh Binh province focused on implementing the master plan, promulgating many policies and synchronously implementing solutions in management and conservation. and promote the value of heritage on the basis of the provisions of the 1972 Convention on the Protection of Cultural and Natural Heritage and the laws of Vietnam; Implement a development model that harmoniously combines heritage restoration and conservation and green, sustainable growth; in which, focusing on developing the main role and central position of the people, mobilizing the participation of the entire society in preserving and promoting heritage values.

Therefore, after 10 years of being registered as a World Heritage Site, Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex is considered by many organizations, experts, and scientists to be an exemplary model, typical of successful combination of development. sustainable economy and tourism while still respecting nature, ensuring harmony of interests of people, the State and businesses; promote the effectiveness of public-private cooperation.

Trang An heritage is like a “precious jewel”, which has become the heart, maintaining the beat, rekindling the source of the past, filtering and preserving the precious values ​​of natural culture and humanity. The values ​​of this Heritage are strongly promoted, becoming an invaluable resource with strong attraction, an endogenous resource and an important driving force for Ninh Binh to develop in the innovation period. and international integration and development; integrating Ninh Binh into the heritage network with UNESCO title; At the same time, plays a nuclear and central role, shaping the development of the province’s urban system towards a heritage urban area; Promote the socio-economic development of Ninh Binh province in the right direction, which is: “Fast, Sustainable and Harmonious” development, economic growth is always associated with socio-cultural development, ensuring social justice and progress, ecological environment protection; Developing green, clean and environmentally friendly industry; Developing organic, circular, multi-value agriculture; Promote the development of high-quality eco-tourism, associated with cultural – historical – natural values, especially good human traditions, the land of Hoa Lu ancient capital, outstanding global values of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex. Since then, Ninh Binh has developed rapidly, becoming a comprehensively developed locality, a province that will self-balance its budget from 2022, with a per capita income ranking 12th/63 provinces and cities in the country; is an attractive destination for tourists and investors.
