(QBDT) – This afternoon, April 26, the 20th Quang Trach District People’s Council, term 2021-2026, held its 12th session (thematic session) to consider and decide on a number of important issues.

At the meeting, the People’s Council of Quang Trach district reviewed and commented on reports and proposals and passed important resolutions, including: Resolution approving the policy of arranging commune-level administrative units In Quang Trach district, it is decided to establish Phu Canh commune on the basis of importing the entire natural area and population size of Phu Hoa commune and Canh Hoa commune; Resolution on detailed allocation of investment capital for development of the Central budget in 2024 to implement works and projects under the National Target Program on sustainable poverty reduction and new rural construction; Resolution allocates investment capital from the provincial budget to support the construction of village cultural houses in 2024; Resolution approved the investment policy of 2 public investment projects using district budget capital management; The Resolution assigns tasks to the District People’s Committee to implement a number of contents in the 2024 budget expenditure estimate.

Carrying out personnel work, the People’s Council of Quang Trach district reviewed and approved the proposal and resolution on the dismissal of the position of Chairman of the People’s Council of Quang Trach district, term 2021-2026 for comrade Nguyen Xuan Dat (due to job transfer). work); Relieved Mr. Le Mau Thinh of his duty as district People’s Council representative (due to job transfer).

The district People’s Council also approved the proposal to introduce personnel to elect the position of Chairman of the 20th term of Quang Trach district People’s Council, term 2021-2026. Pursuant to Notice No. 1203-TB/TU, dated April 24, 2024 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Notice No. 342-TB/HU, dated April 25, 2024 of the Quang Trach District Party Executive Committee on Introducing candidates for election to the position of Chairman of the People’s Council of Quang Trach district, term 2021-2026, the Standing Committee of the District People’s Council introduces comrade Vu Thi Mai, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee to be elected by the District People’s Council to hold the position of Chairman. The district People’s Council delegates voted to collect opinions, agree on the introduced personnel and proceed to elect the position of Chairman of the District People’s Council. As a result, comrade Vu Thi Mai, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Quang Trach District Party Committee, was elected to the position of Chairwoman of the Quang Trach District People’s Council, term 2021-2026.
Speaking to accept the task, comrade Vu Thi Mai expressed her respect and thanks for the trust of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and District People’s Council and promised to be determined to strive to complete the assigned tasks, contributing to the development of the hometown of Quang Trach.
