Implementing Plan No. 213 dated March 1, 2024 of the Ministry of Education and Training on piloting digital school records for primary schools, recently, the Department of Education and Training coordinated with Viettel Vinh Phuc to pilot digital school records for primary schools. province.

The two sides agreed on the viewpoint of building an electronic school report system integrated with the SMAS system being deployed in the province to help facilitate schools when implementing the pilot. Accordingly, 100% of primary schools will pilot digital transcripts, including piloting for students in grades 1, 2, 3, and 4 from the 2023-2024 school year.

Representative of Viettel Vinh Phuc commits to protecting the information security of teachers and students and authorizes teachers to sign school records in the correct box and size; Viettel is one of the units authorized to issue digital signatures and provide free support to schools piloting digital transcripts. Student transfers are available on SMAS.

To pilot the implementation of digital school records, primary schools need to complete contents such as establishing a Steering Committee; standardize teacher and student data; Register digital signatures for 100% of school administrators and teachers.

At the same time, promote propaganda to officials, teachers, employees, parents, and students about the benefits of digital school records; Develop a plan to pilot digital school records, assign specific tasks and responsibilities to each individual; fully prepare conditions for pilot implementation; Organize professional training conferences for 100% of teachers and staff on implementing digital school records at schools…

Digital school records are school records that are digitized, stored in the digital environment, have electronic signatures of authorized individuals and organizations, and have legal value for use in the digital environment. Digital school records ensure complete and accurate storage of information about students and their learning and training results during the learning process at the elementary level; At the same time, ensure consistency and integrity of information once the transcript has been issued (information cannot be changed). In addition, digital transcripts ensure convenience in using, managing, looking up, and authenticating online transcripts as well as allowing the export of soft copies of digital transcripts, which can be printed on paper according to the transcript form. regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training for use in some specific cases.
