Speaking at the sports festival, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia Nguyen Huy Tang highlighted the great significance of important events, especially the nationwide event commemorating the 70th anniversary of the historic victory of Dien Bien Phu in year 2024.

According to Ambassador Nguyen Huy Tang, the Dien Bien Phu Victory is an event of extremely important historical significance, opening a new phase for the Vietnamese Revolution, creating a premise for the country to continue winning the war. Resistance against America to save the country in 1975.
